Based in Arizona, our story began not in a boardroom, but right at home, with a real-life challenge.
After my husband was hospitalized and began his recovery, part of his therapy included walking our dogs — something simple, comforting, and familiar. But even that came with unexpected challenges.
His reduced hand strength and balance made it impossible to use traditional leash and collar buckles.
Holding our wiggly dogs still while trying to align a stiff spring buckle was more than frustrating — it posed a real fall risk.
We searched everywhere for a better solution. When we couldn’t find one, we decided to create it ourselves.
And that’s how MAGNEPUP was born.
A patented buckle system uses the ease and alignment power of magnets to guide the pieces together, while grapple claws lock in securely to hold everything in place.
When it's time to release, a low-pressure button pushes the claws away from the magnet — making the process fast, safe, and simple, even for hands that need a little extra help.
