1. get the two ends close together


2. magnets pull the ends to touch


3. internal latches lock onto the opposite post


4. the latches keep the buckle closed until release buttons are pressed

All MAGNEPUP buckles are crafted using a patented magnetic system. Depending on the style of buckle, they are rated from 400 - 700 lbs of breakstrength.

We have extensively tested our products against both static and dynamic forces, including strong reactive dogs.
